We are an alliance of many organizations and individuals who collaborate to protect our youth and build a positive future for our community. Since 2007, the Santa Fe Prevention Alliance has worked towards our shared vision of Santa Fe County, where no one under 21 drinks alcohol, adults model low risk use of alcohol, no one drives while impaired and no one abuses drugs.
Our diverse membership encompasses many sectors of our community, including the schools, the County DWI Program, faith organizations, behavioral health organizations, law enforcement, legal services, health care organizations, youth-serving organizations, local government and the general community. Committed volunteers provide leadership to implement culturally competent, evidence-based best practices in education, prevention and policy. Alice Sealey, retired Teen Court Director and past Policy Committee Chair, stated, “The Prevention Alliance gets things done. They don’t just talk, they take action.”
